WE BELIEVE IN:
- The Divine Inspiration and Supreme Authority of the Holy Scriptures (Bible).
- The Unity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in the Godhead
(known as the Trinity).
- The Incarnation of the Lord Jesus Christ, conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
- The Deity and Sinless Humanity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- His Substitutionary Death at Calvary for sinners and His Resurrection, as the only basis of Salvation
through personal faith in Jesus.
- The sinfulness of the human race as a result of the Fall, necessitating the regenerating work
of the Holy Spirit.
- The Resurrection of the dead, either to eternal blessedness in the case of the saved, or to
eternal judgement in the case of the lost.
- The personal return to earth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

CORE VALUES:
We at BEC believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was born, lived, was crucified and raised from the dead by God in the land of Israel 2000 years ago. It is only by recognising our need of Jesus, confessing the wrong things in our life (our 'sins') and asking Him to come in and take control of our lives that God will forgive our sins and give us the gift of eternal life.

Our guide and authority for living the Christian life is the Bible, which God inspired some 40 men to write over a period of around 1600 years. BEC is a church rooted in the New Testament with a contemporary approach to worship and community outreach. We are a group of people of all ages and from all walks of life who enjoy a personal relationship with Jesus.
